Gameplayīattlefield includes two gameplay modes, Conquest and Titan, the latter of which can only be played online in multiplayer maps (without using modifications (“mods”)). Air Transport is risky as it is vulnerable to the Titan’s defenses as well as any enemy in the vicinity of the landing zone. There are three methods to board the Titan, either by Air Transport, an APC, or the player’s Titan. After a Titan’s shields are disabled, players must board it to destroy the Titan’s central core. Despite this, it is still important to defend the silos as otherwise it will leave the offensive team’s Titan open to attack.
This method, however, takes much longer to destroy the opposing Titan, leaving players open to having the silos captured and their Titan destroyed. Battlefield VĪlternatively, players can keep fighting for control of the missile silos instead of boarding as the silos will still fire periodically upon the Titan until it is destroyed. After a Titan had sustained enough damage from missile silos, its shields will fail, allowing players to board it in a variety of ways. Once captured, the silos will immediately launch an Anti-Titan missile and will then periodically launch missiles at the opposing Titan until the enemy team has captured the silo or when the match ends. Players start out at their respective Titan where they are tasked with capturing and keeping control of Block III Anti-Titan Missile Silos scattered throughout the map which is done in a similar manner to flags in Conquest. A re-imagined variant of this mode, called Carrier Assault, is featured Battlefield 4: Naval Strike. The main objective in Titan is to destroy the opposing team’s Titan. Titan is a game mode featured in Battlefield 2142. As the conflicts escalated, two militarized power camps emerged from the desperate alliances between nations: The European Union, and the Pan-Asian Coalition. As the land and resources needed to sustain the people drained, nations began to fight for whatever is remaining. The Ice Age, caused by global warming in the last century, created massive snowstorms that froze continental Eurasia from the north, taking over resources and living space. The cause of the Cold War was due to power buildup caused by the reaction to the new ice age that began in 2106. Whilst the European Union had the resources to sustain itself, the Pan-Asian Coalition did not and eventually found no viable options other than taking resources by force. The main reason for the outbreak of the war was the onset of a new ice age at the beginning of the 22nd century, which caused vital natural resources to shrink and become scarce. The Cold War is a war that occurred in the 22nd century, starting in October 2139 and ending sometime during or after 2147.

It is not to be confused with the Cold War of the 20th century, a series of proxy wars (including the Vietnam War) and political tensions between NATO and Warsaw Pact nations in the period from 1945 to 1991. Small-scale conflicts bloomed into major confrontations, as desperate nations united to form new superpowers-the European-led EU forces and Russo-Asian PAC army.
Living space and resources were swallowed by the encroaching ice and a frantic battle for survival began across the globe.
